Small Mica River Clay Cup
This hand sculpted cup is made from clay gathered from fallen tree roots along a river forest road in the Coastal Mountains of Oregon and fired with a traditional pit firing method. The mug is painted with foraged clay slips and has a light finish with beewax. Unglazed pottery is an opportunity to truly commune with the clay as a vessel. Instructions for caring for these cups will be included with order.
